In 2023, PGS had the privilege of supporting France 2023, in collaboration with Infront, for several missions related to the Rugby World Cup 2023. This global event required meticulous technical coordination, and we were at the heart of the audiovisual production management, ensuring that everything was in place for a flawless broadcast.
We began by defining the specifications for the production of the International Signal, a key document that ensured that every aspect of the broadcast met the highest standards. Our priority was to capture both the intensity of the matches and the vibrant atmosphere of the stadiums, while ensuring an immersive experience for viewers around the world.
To prepare the infrastructure, our team carried out inspection visits of the stadiums and the areas dedicated to the media and Host Broadcast (HB). These inspections allowed us to verify that everything was in line with the technical requirements, and we produced detailed reports, accompanied by recommendations for improving the audiovisual management of each site.
Then, we took charge of the organization and implementation of the Broadcast Venue Management (Host Broadcast) system, which is crucial to ensure that all broadcasters can operate efficiently. This allowed us to coordinate all stakeholders on the ground, from the start to the end of the matches, while ensuring total fluidity in operations.
At the same time, we managed the financial aspects by ensuring the management of projects and budgets related to international television and media coverage. This supervision allowed us to optimize the resources allocated while respecting the high expectations of broadcasters and organizers.
Finally, we ensured technical coordination with CAF broadcasters and clients, managing the booking of technical services as well as the costs associated with unilateral activities. We also took care of the rights holders present on site, offering them dedicated support to ensure that all their requirements were met.
