In 2023, New World TV obtained the exclusive rights to broadcast the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in English, and PGS was responsible for producing the TAM TAM show throughout the tournament. For a month, we provided complete coverage of the competition, broadcasting from a remote set in Abidjan, with a unique device to capture the full intensity of the event.

We set up a film set on the terrace of the Ivoire Trade Center (ITC), with a remote control room, thus making it possible to efficiently manage remote production while maintaining optimal broadcast quality. This organization mobilized a team of 80 people, spread between Abidjan and other strategic points across the Ivorian territory. Thanks to this device, we managed to produce 21 programs throughout the competition.

The highlight of this collaboration was the live broadcast of the semi-finals and the final, with production on the pitch to offer subscribers an immersive experience, as close as possible to the action. By using a mobile OB van, we were able to capture the intensity of the matches in an exceptional way, guaranteeing spectators a dynamic and engaging broadcast, as if they were on the pitch themselves.
